I’ll be in attendance at An Event Apart Chicago with the AG UI team. Not sure if I’ll have any time to post about the conference while there, but I’m not planning on it. I have some friends in town I’d like to visit, and I want to hit up some Chicago staples like Reckless, Hot Doug’s, and possibly Earwax. I’ll definitely have to have some Chicago style pizza as well. I hope there’s a post office near the hotel so I can ship LPs home. Also, the after party looks dangerous, they have a fair selection (Talisker!) of single malts.
One of the things I like about AEA as opposed to something like SXSW is the focus on quality, so I know all the speakers will be great. Still, I’m probably most interested in Dan Cedarholm’s talk, and the panel on form design best practices.
If I feel like being organized this weekend I’ll schedule some future posts, but more likely I’ll get a haircut and a manicure. I’m still debating whether or not to check luggage or just do carry on.
